Video: Roswell police officers rescue driver on edge of ravine

ROSWELL, Ga. - Police officers jump to rescue a driver trapped inside a car which is teetering over a ravine. The whole thing was caught by a police body camera.

To say it was a dangerous situation is an understatement. Roswell police officers moved quickly to carefully balance the vehicle while pulling the driver to safety.

The intense moments were captured on body cam video as a Roswell Police sergeant used all of his strength to hold down the back of the car to keep it from falling over the embankment.

The rescue happened Tuesday on South Atlanta Street and Riverside Road.

As for the driver, she was rushed to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
