ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Home Depot is working to improve the lives of veterans in honor of National Military Appreciation Month.
Thursday, Home Depot along with the Gwinnett County Veterans Resource Center renovated the home of a disabled Korean War veteran.
Volunteers worked to replace the walk-in shower, toilet, and re-do the warped bathroom floor.
The veteran says he's grateful volunteers could repair his home.
Volunteers also cleaned the gutters.
Since 2011, the Home Depot Foundation has transformed more than 40,000 homes and facilities for veterans across the country.
