Two teens are behind bars in Lumpkin County, accused in a number of car break-ins at an apartment complex. Authorities said the pair used a man's pickup truck as their getaway car and as luck would have it, the victim saw his car on the road a few hours after it was stolen, leading deputies to the crooks.

Investigators said the crime spree started Tuesday morning. Lumpkin County Sheriff’s deputies said at least seven people had their cars broken into at the Sherman Green Apartments.

Deputies identify the two as Emmanuel Flores and Slaydon Spiers, both 18.

Sheriff Stacy Jarrard told FOX 5 News after breaking into the cars, the two went shopping at the area Walmart with victims’ credit cards. They bought everything from wireless speakers and routers to apple wireless earbuds. They also bought an Apple iWatch that the sheriff said one of the suspects was wearing when they arrested him. As a result of these arrests, the sheriff’s office was able to recover a lot of stolen items.
