Two people were shot early Monday morning at a home in Forsyth County. The shooting happened at a home on Darla Avenue in Cumming. The victims are described as a man and a woman.

Investigators say they believe the ex-husband of the female victim shot the two victims. Investigators have identified the suspect as 47-year-old Ronald Lofland.

The male victim was in surgery in the hours after the shooting. The female victim was treated at the hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be serious.

Deputies say Lofland left the scene in a 2003 gold Jeep Liberty with a Georgia license plate PXL-8529. Although they say he is not believed to be a danger to others, they do caution that he is still believed to be armed.
