Two DeKalb County schools placed on lockdown
DECATUR, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Two schools in DeKalb County have been placed on lockdown.
According to DeKalb County Schools, several students at Indian Creek Elementary School said they said two people with a rifle Monday morning.
As a precaution, the DeKalb County School District placed Indian Creek and nearby Clarkston High School on lockdown.
The school district said DeKalb County Public Safety is working with local law enforcement to determine the "severity and validity of these claims."
