Two children struck by cement truck in DeKalb County
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Two 14-year-old girls were hit by a cement truck on Friday afternoon.
The girls were in the crosswalk at the intersection of Lynburn Drive and Lawrenceville Highway.
Lt. Robertson of the DeKalb County Police told FOX 5 News that the driver did not see the girls while trying to make a right turn to get on Lawrenceville Highway.
Both of the girls were hit and taken to the hospital, according to DeKalb County Police.
One has minor injuries, but the other was rushed to the hospital in serious condition after getting pinned under the truck tires.
