Trees damage homes in Lawrenceville

Two houses in Lawrenceville were damaged Wednesday afternoon as strong storms rolled through the area. Both homes are located on Sugarbrook Drive.

Neha Khan's cousins live inside one of the homes that were damaged.

"We are just happy everyone inside is safe," said Khan.

Khan said the downed tree left a hole in her cousin’s attic ceiling. She says the storms came through quickly and caused damage in a short amount of time.

"There was a lot of thunder and a lot of gusty winds," said Khan.

A neighbor next-door also suffered some damage to his home but says it is not that extensive.
