A large tree fell on a car and takes out powerlines in northeast Atlanta
ATLANTA - Days of rain and the ground is supersaturated. This is not always good for larger and older trees.
That was the case along Saint Charles Avenue near Ponce De Leon and North Avenue.
SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene of the massive tree which crushed a parked truck below and took down several power lines.
The tree blocked traffic along the road.
No one was in the truck and there were no injuries.
Man describes being shot by Fairburn officer
FOX 5 Atlanta talked to the man who was shot earlier today by a Fairburn police officer. The officer also shot his two dogs. The officer was responding to a report about a distraught woman. FOX 5 Atlanta's Marc Teichner reporting live from the scene.
