Train and tractor trailer collide in Palmetto

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - A train and tractor-trailer collided in Palmetto early Thursday morning.

It happened a little before 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Roosevelt Highway and Gullatt Road. According to the Fulton County Fire Department, no one was injured.

SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene around noon and spotted a damaged tractor trailer which appeared to have been dragged down the tracks by a train.

The cause of the accident has not yet been released by investigators.
