Griffin Police are trying to determine if three men who robbed a T-Mobile store where part of a bigger ring of commercial robbers.

Just after 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, three men armed with handguns entered the cellphone store on North Expressway demanding cash.

They forced the employees to the back of the stores and loaded a bag up with iPhone Xs and cash.

The trio fled the store in a black Mercedes Benz sedan traveling northbound to Henry County. That is where an officer spotted the robbers and pursued them. The chase ended when the suspects crashed the Benz into a tree on Flippen Road near Roundtree Road in Stockbridge.

Officers said the men took off on foot, but K-9 units and dozens of officers caught up with them. Griffin Police said one of the suspects was bitten by a police K-9 and hospitalized.

Police identified the robbery suspects as 22-year-old Dexter Boyd and 26-year-old Timothy Ragland. The third suspect has not been identified yet. Police said all three men are from Newnan.
