Teens attacked by possible gang in Conyers

Three separate attacks on teenagers in Rockdale County have authorities looking into possible gang connections.

One fifteen-year-old victim who spoke to FOX 5 News says he was walking home when a red SUV pulled up next to him. He told Rockdale County Sheriff's Deputies that eight men jumped out of the car and began beating him. He managed to escape and get home, where his mother later took him to the hospital. He describes his attackers as "cowards" and told police all his attackers were black men, between the ages of 15 and 18, wearing red bandanas.

Two days later, Conyers Police say another teen was attacked while he was walking home on Eastview Road. He told investigators that he had also been attacked by a group of eight men.

According to an incident report, the group punched the teen in the head and kicked him in the stomach. Afterwards, they stole his backpack and a cell phone.

The next day, Conyers police say another teen was assaulted at a home near the Family Dollar store on Sigman Road. Investigators say he ran to that store to call for help and later told police he had been attacked and shot at by seven to eight men. Police say that victim was robbed of his iPhone and $150 in cash.
