Teen shot twice, Clayton County police search for gunman

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - A Clayton County mother is begging for help finding the gunman who shot her 19-year-old son twice.

The family asked FOX 5 not to use the victim's name, for his safety. His mother said her son was just walking with friends when one of those friends had a fight with someone else.

Clayton County police said the group wasn't just walking, but were there to fight. That fight almost turned deadly when someone in the crowd opened fire, shooting the victim twice in the stomach. 

At last check, the teen was stable at Atlanta Medical Center.
