Teen arrested after allegedly threatening Duluth school

A Duluth teenager is in custody after police say that he made threats toward his high school.

Police said that they arrested 17-year-old Joseph Mentesana on Tuesday a little after 10 a.m. in response to him making an unspecified threat at Notre Dame Academy on River Green Parkway.

Mentesana is in custody at the Gwinnett County Jail after being charged with terroristic threats.

Officials say that tomorrow is the suspect's birthday.
