Suspects Captured after High Speed Chase

COWETA COUNTY, Ga. - The Sheriff's office says during a brief encounter between officers the teen girl was tazed by one deputy for failing to obey a command. Another deputy we're told fired his weapon striking the male suspect who was armed.

The Sheriff's office says it was the end of a high speed pursuit when the trio failed to stop. Investigators tells us they were involved in another high speed pursuit the previous day after the teen girl was reported as a run away in Carroll County. The deputy who injured the suspect is on routine paid administrative leave.
