Suspect sought in Canton bank robbery

CANTON, Ga. - Police have released surveillance images of a suspect accused of robbing a bank in Canton Tuesday morning.

The person reportedly walked into the BB&T Bank in the 100 block of Prominence Point Parkway and demanded money. Police say he got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Authorities say the suspect possibly fled the scene in a light blue Ford Thunderbird of Mercury Cougar, headed toward Marietta Highway.
