Suspect sought in Bartow County bank robbery

BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities need your help to identify a suspect accused of robbing a Bartow County bank Friday morning.

The incident occurred at the SunTrust Bank on Frank Harris Parkway in Cartersville around 9:49 a.m. Authorities say the suspect walked into the bank and ordered everyone on the floor. The suspect claimed to be armed, but no weapon was visible, officials say. The man reportedly got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen running away from the bank near the old Ryan's building next door.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing blue pants, a red long-sleeve shirt, white athletic shoes, a black ball cap, gloves, and a red bandana over his face.

No injuries were reported.
