Suspect detained after threats to DeKalb County Schools
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - DeKalb County School District said a suspect was detained Wednesday following a threat against two schools on social media.
Officials said around 1 a.m. DCSD Public Safety responded to a threat posted on social media. The threat was to Chamblee Middle and High School. Officials said the Department of Public Safety began an investigation into the threat.
As a precaution, extra police were present at both schools on Wednesday.
Officials said parents had been informed of the incident.
