Study to reduce speed limits in Atlanta

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The Atlanta City Council has approved legislation requesting a study to look into reducing speed limits within the city.

The proposal aimed to improve the safety and quality of life.

Council member Andre Dickens introduced the proposal.

He says after hosting a town hall on transportation safety it is clear roads need to be made safer for everyone including bikes, scooters, and personal mobility devices.
