Stranded Walker County hikers rescued from flood
WALKER COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A daring rescue was caught on camera in Walker County.
The video shows rushing flood waters. In those waters, Walker County Fire Rescue crews pulled two stranded hikers to safety across the East Armuchee Creek.
The men were hiking in the Chattahoochee National Forest early Wednesday morning when they became trapped by the rising water near Manning Mill Road and East Armuchee.
It took rescuers just under an hour but crews got both hikers to safety
No injuries were reported,
