TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - The "Witch's Brew Frappuccino" has officially hit Starbucks stores everywhere. The chilling new beverage starts out with a purpley "toad's breath" with orange creme Frappuccino with a swirl of green "bat warts," which is a clever name for "chia seeds."
It's then topped with vanilla whipped cream and a dusting of green "lizard scale" powder.
FOX 13's Chip Brewster gave it a try as soon as it came out. (Mobile users click here.)
This newest concoction comes on the heels of the coffee chain's brews from previous years: the Frappula Frappuccino and the Zombie Frappuccino.
“We wanted to create a flavor that you might enjoy at a Halloween party,” said Jennica Robinson from Starbucks beverage development team. “It gets a little bit of juicy-ness from the orange flavor.”
The drink will be in stores while supplies last.
