Soldier Surprises Family at Gators Game

The family of a U.S. soldier knew Saturday night’s Florida football game would be special, but they had no idea of how special it would be.

Chief Warrant Officer Kristian Denkins and his family are huge Gator fans.

His wife and their four children were brought on the field of The Swamp during the Florida-Ole Miss game to see a video message of CWO Denkins from his fifth tour in Afghanistan.

With a Florida football banner behind him, Denkins brought his children to tears as he told them over the stadium’s video scoreboard he would be home soon.

But moments after the video was shown, CWO Denkins ran onto the field to surprise his family to the roar of the Florida crowd.

The special night ended even better for the Florida fans, as the 25th-ranked Gators crushed No. 3 Ole Miss 38-10.
