Police investigating possible murder-suicide at Snellville home

Gwinnett County authorities are investigating a reported murder-suicide that left two people dead at a home in Snellville.

Officers were called to the 2200 block of Westridge Drive on Monday afternoon.

What we know:

Authorities tell FOX 5 that they responded to the home after reports of a shooting and found a man and woman dead inside.

Officials say the initial investigation indicates that the shooting was a "murder/suicide stemming from a domestic dispute."

Police confirmed on Facebook that there was "no active concern" for the neighborhood.

While police have not shared identifying information about the victims, a family member told FOX 5 that the couple was in their 60s.

What we don't know:

Details about the investigation remain limited and authorities have held off on releasing the victim's names.

"No additional information will be released," the post by the Snellville Police Department concluded.
