A group of Atlanta bicyclist said they are fed up with feeling unsafe when they ride through the city.

Friday, they took action. Riders met up in Inman Park to kick off a slow-moving demonstration for the morning's rush hour.

Organizers said they want to bring attention to the dangers of riding.

They also have asked for safety improvements such as protected bike lanes.

The group said Renew Atlanta leaders have delayed taking action to protect bike riders.

The Atlanta City Council is expected to vote on a number of infrastructure fixes and enhancements in the coming weeks.
