Six residents qualify for Tucker races

TUCKER, Ga. - Tucker announced six residents qualified to run for city posts this week.

Those include:

Mayor

• Frank Auman (incumbent)

District One Councilmember

• Honey Van De Kreke (incumbent)
• Pat Soltys

District Two Councilmember

• Matt Robbins (incumbent)

District Three Councilmember

• Michelle Penkava (incumbent)
• David Deaton

If no one seeks a ‘qualified write-ins’ status, there will be no vote on Mayor or the District Two City Council seat since both are unopposed.

Tucker’s City Council elections are staggered, meaning the three remaining seats will be on the ballot in November 2019.
