Siberian husky found in Riverside to be reunited with New Mexico family after 5 years

A Siberian husky found in Riverside will  be reunited with her family in New Mexico Thursday night after being stolen five years ago.

65-pound Azula who is a a 7-year-old female Siberian husky was found a month ago walking aimlessly in a Riverside neighborhood.
    
A Good Samaritan turned her in to the Riverside County Department of Animal Services.
    
A microchip scan found she belonged to a family in New Mexico who said Azula was stolen from their home five years ago!
    
They thought Azula was dead or gone forever.
    
Azula flew home Thursday afternoon and will land at Albuquerque International airport Thursday night.
    
Her family can't wait for the joyful reunion!
