Several vehicle break-ins reported at Cumberland Mall

ATLANTA - Cobb County Police are investigating several vehicle break-ins at Cumberland Mall.

Officials say at least three pick-up trucks were reportedly burglarized on Saturday.

FOX 5 spoke to a man and woman at the scene, who said their truck was one of the vehicles broken into Saturday night. Thieves smashed the window of their truck and stole about $500 worth of camera equipment and other items.

“It does scare me, especially when we drive with my kids in the car” said Angelica Mastrogiovanni-Headd. “It’s really heartbreaking.”

She said officials told her they will collect fingerprints and review surveillance video.

The investigation is ongoing.
