Nearly three weeks after his death, 17-year-old Seth Stapleton was remembered at Friday night's Morgan County High School Football game. Before kickoff, the school retired Stapleton's jersey, number 71. His parents, Ray and Angela, along with Stapleton's brother Drew, were presented with his jersey and a plaque.

Stapleton died in a single-car accident nearly three weeks ago. Authorities say his truck left the roadway and crashed. Stapleton later died from his injuries. Since the accident, the community has rallied to support Stapleton's teammates and his family. Coach Bill Malone says the community support has been important in helping his players cope with the loss.
