SeaWorld Orlando's Mako roller coaster opening in June

SeaWorld Orlando announced on Monday that its Mako attraction, soon to be Orlando’s longest, fastest and tallest roller coaster, will open on June 10.

The 12,500-pound final piece of track was lifted into place and topped with a waving American flag earlier this month.  Mako features a nearly one-mile-long track that will top 200 feet high and reach speeds of 73 mph.   Mako will have 3 coaster trains with 7 cars per train and each train will carry 28 riders. Each coaster train weighs 21,418 pounds.  Video is courtesy of Daniel Leavelle / Mako Madness.
