Search on for 2 inmates accused of escape in south Alabama
LOXLEY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say two inmates have escaped from a work release center in south Alabama.
The Alabama Department of Corrections said the escape happened Monday night at a facility in Baldwin County.
Al.com reports (http://bit.ly/2pdAvxA ) that 29-year-old Ryan Edward Wilson; and 38-year-old Bobby Lee Taylor are accused of escaping from the Loxley Work Release Center shortly after 9 p.m. Monday.
Lee was sentenced in February 2007 to 20 years for a second-degree theft of property charge in Elmore County.
Wilson was sentenced to two years in August 2016 for a first-degree theft of property charge in Jackson County.
