Search for missing 77-year-old Cobb County woman
COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Police in Cobb County are searching for a missing 77-year-old woman.
Mergilga Morales was last seen at her home in the 5800 block of Brookside Drive just east of Mableton around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.
Police said Morales does not have transportation or money.
Morales is described as being 5’2” tall and weighing about 138 pounds.
Family members told police she takes medication for diabetes and high blood pressure but does not have those medications with her.
Police said she made statements to family members about wishing to return to Mexico, but her family did not make any arraignments for her to get there.
