Police and Emergency Medical Services have responded to an accident involving a school bus on Interstate 285.

The accident happened on the interstate south of I-20 when a vehicle traveling near the bus was rear-ended around 2:52 p.m., police said.

That vehicle then went out of control and side-swiped the bus.

Officials say that two 17-year-olds and one 18-year-old have been transported to Egleston Hospital after complaining of headaches.

All the students on the bus attend Stone Mountain High School.

The bus has been moved to the right shoulder of the highway and traffic is proceeding as normal.
