Police said robbers targeted a second person this week as they walked from a Buckhead shopping center, and the victim told FOX 5 News the suspects pointed two guns at him and forced him to lie on the ground.

The victim, who only wanted to be identified as Daniel, told FOX 5 News he left Lenox Square mall Tuesday shortly after 8 p.m., and walked along the nearby pedestrian path over the freeway; he said while he was speaking with his wife on his cell phone, two men with guns ambushed him as he approached Martina Drive.

"[There was] one in front of me, one behind me-- both armed with handguns, one to the back of my neck and one to my face," Daniel said.

He said he complied with the gunmen as they took all his belongings, including his wallet, cell phone, and backpack; he said he lay down as instructed and allowed the robbers to pat him down.

The men fled back on the pedestrian path.

The robbery comes after the other frightening ordeal nearby on Monday night, as 29-year-old Matraya Lewis told FOX 5 News, a robber ambushed her at the Lenox Marketplace shopping center on Peachtree Road and punched her five times in the face to try to steal her purse.

No word if the suspects could be connected, or if the perpetrators could be tied to other crimes.
