Robbers attack man, try to steal his cane in downtown Atlanta

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Atlanta Police are investigating after a pair of robbers attacked a man in his sixties as he walked from a doctor's appointment in downtown Atlanta.

The incident happened last week on Peachtree Street near Hardy Ivy Park. The victim told officers the men, who he described as in their twenties, ambushed him, tried to take his cane and ripped part of his pants during the attack.

The victim fought back but the robbers got away with his cell phone and $60.
