Robber dressed as construction worker robs bank

Gwinnett County Police are searching for a male who while dressed as a construction worker, walked into the Wells Fargo Bank located at 6155 Buford Highway in Norcross and robbed the bank.

The incident happened on Wednesday, May 31. The suspect waited in line to see a bank teller for several minutes. When it was his turn, he approached the teller and passed a note that said he was committing a robbery. The suspect then placed his hand under his shirt to give the impression that he was armed. He also told the teller, “Don’t do anything stupid!”

The suspect fled the scene with over $2,500 in cash. The suspect was a black male, 55-60 years old and 5’10” 170 pounds.
