The "Ride 4 the Fallen" motorcycle ride is an event that honors and celebrates the lives of 215 Georgians who paid the ultimate price in the war on terror.

The event took place in Athens at Cycle World on Saturday and is the third year for the event.  Over 300 participants came out to support the Celebration of Freedom Ride. The mission of "Ride 4 the Fallen" is to perpetuate the memory of military heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting America's freedoms.

The family members supply cards and history about the fallen members. Many citizens will select a picture of one of the fallen and read their name where were they are from and the date of their passing. Many of the riders will keep the photos that they have selected and keep them with them for the year as a reminder of their sacrifice.

One hundred percent of all donations made will benefit the Military Veteran's Project.
