A few dozen protesters welcomed President Trump as he visited the Rx Drug Abuse and Heroin Summit in Atlanta on Wednesday.

Officials said the protestors met up at Hardy Ivy Park, which is just across from the hotel where President Trump was speaking.

Officials said the protestors wanted a Medicaid expansion and the affordable care act to remain the law.

The protestors said the coverage is essential for those seeking treatment for addiction to opioids.

Several other protesters were demonstrating against Trump's administration's stance on Southern border security as well as the recent Mueller report.

There were no reports of arrests and, by most accounts, the protesters remained peaceful.
