President Speaks on San Bernardino, Calif. Shooting

President Barack Obama spoke Thursday on the mass shooting that took place in San Bernardino, California on Wednesday. The shooting left at least 14 people dead and 17 others injured. 

President Obama started off by offering his condolences to the families of the victims. He said at this time, there is no information to offer on a motive for the shootings, but just that the "terrible event occurred." 

President Obama spent Thursday morning meeting with his national security team. He said it's possible the shootings are terrorist-related, but that's not confirmed. He said it could have been workplace related too. 

He assured America that investigators will get to the bottom of Wednesday's shooting. 

"This may take some time," Obama said. "There may be mixed motives, which makes things complicated but rest assured we will get to the bottom of this."
