POWs Honored at Georgia's Capitol

ATLANTA - The State Capitol honored former prisoners of the Vietnam War Tuesday.

The special ceremony included Missing Man Table honors a roll call of Georgia's former prisoners of war and a group photo.

The event is part of the 50th anniversary commemoration of the Vietnam War.

One veteran said he was a POW along with Senator John McCain.

Among the speakers at the event were Anne and Joy Purcell, wife and daughter of the late Ben Purcell, who was held captive for more than five years.
