According to police, the victim worked in the hotel's culinary department. Her family members called the hotel when she didn't return home from her shift and that's when a search was launched.
Coworkers discovered the woman's body inside a hotel freezer. The hotel released the following statement early Tuesday afternoon:
"We are devastated by the tragic loss of our long-time associate and member of our Westin family. We are working closely with the authorities in their investigation, and we are providing whatever support that we can for her family."
"Everybody in the hotel loved her. She was a very kind lady," said Joseph Stephenson.
Stephenson said Robinson had worked at the Westin Hotel more than three decades as a culinary worker.
A customer headed to the Sun Dial Restaurant at the Westin offered prayers for the family of Robinson.
"We're approaching Easter and so we are always praying to God for the family. We just lift the family up in prayer and our condolences," said Yovan Golden.
Investigators said there is no reason to believe foul play is involved and this appears to be accidental.
