Police: Woman wore Waffle House uniform while stealing packages

PEACHTREE CORNERS, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police said they arrested a porch pirate caught on camera wearing a Waffle House uniform while hitting a Gwinnett County house.

Earlier in December, the Gwinnett County Police Department shared a post of a suspected package thief walking up to a doorstep and stealing a package from a home in broad daylight.

Police say the woman was wearing her nametag and uniform in the photos.

She left with the package in a silver or light-colored mid- to late 2000s SUV, most likely a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

On Dec. 22, police say they arrested the thief, now identified as 27-year-old Tamara Stanley, and charged her with theft by taking.
