Police trying to identify man in burglary, fraud case

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Police are trying to identify a suspect in a recent burglary and fraud case, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.

A suspect entered the garage of a home on Azalea Drive in Lawrenceville and stole a purse and wallet from two parked vehicles, according to police. The incident occurred of April 4.

Police say surveillance video shows the suspect making purchases at a local QuikTrip on 2900 Buford Drive around 3:30 a.m., a nearby Waffle House around 5am, and a nearby Wal-Mart.

The description of the suspect is a white male with eyeglasses between 20 and 25 years old, 5'8" in height, between 200-250 lbs, with brown hair, according to police. He was wearing a Washington Nationals navy-colored t-shirt, baggy black pants, and dark shoes, authorities say.
