Police: Teen Shot at Atlanta Apartment Complex

ATLANTA - Police are searching for the gunman who shot a 15-year-old boy at an Atlanta apartment complex Wednesday afternoon.

It happened just before 3 p.m. at the Edgewood Court Apartments in the 1500 block of Hardee Street. Residents told FOX 5 News they heard a gunshot and found the teen. He was rushed to an area hospital.

The name of the teenager was not immediately released.

Family members told FOX 5 off-camera they were rushing to the hospital to see the teenager.

Police said the teenager is in stable condition after surgery, but still have no motive for the crime.
