Police: teen carjacked at gunpoint during Snapchat meetup

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Gwinnett County Police are looking for a group of people after a teenager was carjacked at gunpoint Monday night.

The incident happened outside a vacant house on Donna Court near Lawrenceville, according to officials.

Officers told FOX 5 News the 14-year-old victim drove his mother's car to the location to meet a boy named Brandon who met on the social media app, Snapchat. Once at the location, the teens talked inside the vehicle before three other people, including a woman, ran out of the house and carjacked the victim at gunpoint.

Along with searching for the attackers, police are also investigating whether the incident was the result of a setup.

Officers later found the stolen car.
