Police: Suspects swindled almost $15,000 from elderly man
JOHNS CREEK, Ga. - Police are on the lookout for two people they say swindled an elderly man out of nearly $15,000.
In a statement, the Johns Creek Police Department said they are seeking the public help to identify a man and a woman who are wanted for questioning in a case of financial elder abuse.
They say that the two people got the money by posing as friends of the man's daughters.
Surveillance video caught the suspects exiting a store with the victim. Officials say they tricked the victim into buying a PS4 console for them at that time.
The couple is driving a newer model white Chevrolet Camaro, police say.
