Police: Suspect in Sexually Assaults in Front of Children Arrested

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - Clayton County Police said the man wanted as a suspect in two separate sexual assaults on women was taken into custody.

Police confirm the man is the individual pictured in the surveillance video released Thursday by police.

Police said the man raped the two women in front of children.

The first attack happened Nov. 30 in the parking lot of the Stonebook Apartments on Norman Drive. Police said the man held a woman at gunpoint as she was trying to unload her two-year-old child, forced her back into the car, and assaulted her as her child watched.

The man then robbed her of her possessions.

Police believe the attacker is also behind another assault in early December in the same area. Police said a woman was ambushed and a child was also present during the assault.

The suspect is identified as a 15-year-old boy. He was charged with Kidnapping, Criminal Attempt-Rape, Cruelty to Children, Armed Robbery, Sexual Battery, and Burglary.
