Police: Suspect commits 5 robberies in 4 weeks

Gwinnett police are asking you for help identifiying a suspect they say committed at least five burglaries in the area in just four weeks.

According to police, the suspect smashes through each business' front door using a rock or brick and then takes only a few minutes to steal as much as he can. Officials say he focuses on cash, money bags, and safes, but also has stolen vehicle audio and video components.

So far the suspect has stolen nearly $3,000 in cash and property while causing over $1,100 in damage.

Investigators say he targeted businesses in Peachtree Corners, unincorporated Lawrenceville, and unincorporated Norcross. In each burglary he wears a hoodie and gloves.

Police say in two of the cases, the suspect drove a newer model Toyota Camry with a stolen license plate.

If you have any information about the burglaries, please call Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
