Police: Shooting victim may have not been intended target

ATLANTA - Atlanta homicide detectives say a shooting victim may have been an unintended target.

Someone shot 59-year-old Eva Jones several times early Tuesday morning while she was asleep inside her home at the Pavilion Place apartments.

Investigators say they believe someone stood on a hill behind the victim's building and fired several shots at around 5:45 a.m.

Police say they believe the apartment was targeted.
