Police Seek Help Identifying Man in Starbucks Armed Robbery

Brookhaven police are asking for help identifying a robber who held several employees at gunpoint at a local Starbucks. 

The robbery took place at the Starbucks located in the 2300 block of North Druid Hills Road around 6:00 a.m. Tuesday. 

The robber hid outside the coffee shop and waited for employees to show up, according to police. When they arrived, the suspect pulled out a gun and forced his way inside. He took an undisclosed amount of cash from the store cash register and safe. Then, police said, he fled from the scene. 

No one was hurt in the robbery. 

The Starbucks is located in the newly rebranded Brighten Park shopping center at the corner of North Druid Hills and Briarcliff Roads. 

The suspect is described as a black male, 6-feet-tall and slender build. His face was covered with either a scarf or a ski mask when the robbery took place.
