Police searching for suspected leader of drug organization

Officials are searching for a suspect believed to be the leader of an organization involved in drugs and firearms, and they need your help to bring him to justice.

The Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team says 38-year-old Omar "Fresh" Jujuan Griffin is wanted in connection with an investigation that seized a large shipment of drugs and weapons in the area.

In the seizure, police found around 25 kilograms of cocaine, 40 pounds of marijuana, five ounces of methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA/Ecstasy), 17 bottles of codeine, and 21 firearms – multiple of which had been reported stolen.

The seized cocaine alone had an estimated street value of up to $4 million, police said.

Griffin has been known to frequent Chatham County, Atlanta, and Houston. Police believe that he's currently around Atlanta or in the Houston area. He's described as being 5-feet-8-inches tall with short black hair and brown eyes. He might have facial hair.

He is considered to be armed and dangerous, so do engage him, police said.
