Police searching for Dollar Tree robber

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Police are searching for a man who sprayed a worker at a Dollar Tree in the face with a chemical, and grabbed money from the register, according to the Cobb County Department of Public Safety.

The incident occurred at the Dollar Tree at 3895 Cherokee Street in Kennesaw. Police say a male approached a female employee while she was putting money in the cash register.

The suspect shoved the employee and sprayed her face with a spray can, according to police. The man grabbed money from the register and fled on foot towards the woods behind the shopping center, according to police.

The victim refused medical treatment from first responders, according to officials.
